Sacraments and Guidelines

• Baptism (infants): Please email and make arrangements with Deacon Mark Wieczorek before scheduling a date with friends and relatives at deaconmark@sacredheartob.org.

• Religious Education / Becoming Catholic (RCIA): Stephen Williams at (619)-224-2746 *102 or email religioused@sacredheartob.org.
  • Baptism (Age 7-14 years): We offer a one-to-two year process for children and parents.
  • Reconciliation (First Penance): Seven years of age or older.
  • First Communion (First Eucharist): Seven years of age or older.
  • Children’s Religious Education / Liturgy of the Word: Grades K-5th.
  • Confirmation for Adults / Becoming Catholic (RCIA) for Adults, Children, Teens.
  • Adult Religious Education.
  • Young Adults: Programs are available for Young Adults.
  • Confirmation for Youth / Teens.
