It’s a Mass and barbecue this Friday. Join us for Mass at 5:00PM followed by a chili cook-off, BBQ meal, games, quilt raffle and entertainment. It’s fun for the whole family. Taste the chili Fr. Tom can’t stop not bragging about. See your Parish family and just have a good time. Please let us know by today if you haven’t submitted your RSVP. A free will donation is requested.

Stump the Priest
Father Tom will be at Sacred Heart Academy’s newly refurbished upper classroom tomorrow evening, Tuesday, June 18th, at 7:00PM conducting another “Question and Answer”session for parishioners. If you attended the last “Q&A”, Fr. Tom will answer ANY question on any topic, religious or otherwise. Come find out for yourself the answer to the questions you’ve always wanted to ask your Pastor.
Help! Your Ideas are Needed
Also, if you missed the first meeting, we are having a follow-up meeting to continue exploring ways we can improve the life of our Parish: identifying new ministries; increasing parish resources (funds); building community, helping young families; involving our youth in healthy, spiritual activities; etc. Fr. Tom is requesting the help of everyone interested in participating and if you have ideas on any of these endeavors or others please join us for a second Brain-Storming session on Saturday, June 22nd at 5:30 pm, after the 4:30 Mass in the Parish Hall.

Pastoral Council Notice
The next Pastoral Council Meeting will be this Saturday May 11th at 9:00 a.m. The meeting will be in the upstairs room at Sacred Heart Academy and all interested parishioners are invited to attend. We will have reports from our various ministries and discuss proposed activities for the coming months. Please, come and get involved! |
