Yes!!! You can be in the
OB Christmas Parade….

The Creation Care Team at Sacred Heart is participating in the OB Christmas parade this Saturday, December 7th to promote care of our planet. We have space for 30 people and would love to have as many as possible join us. The theme of the parade this year is ‘Miracle on Newport’. We ask everyone to dress in festive dress or even better… dress in something that says that we wish to preserve our resources (like trees) or doing without plastics. (Miracles… as examples)

We are hoping to make this a very fun event and hope all will join us. Let’s hear it for care of our environment!!!!

PS. We are walking in Group B this year so you can actually walk with us and then see the rest of the parade.

Christmas Tree Fundraiser for our Youth Ministry
Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree…
Please support the Sacred Heart Youth Ministry by pre-ordering a Christmas Tree or Wreathe. These are high-quality trees cut fresh from Oregon and shipped the day they are cut down. These trees will easily last for over a month, they smell GLORIOUS and are much higher quality than anything sold at a grocery store or home center. In addition, you can purchase a “Tree for Troops” and send a tree to a local military family. After the pre-order you can pick up your tree at our festive tree lot on Sunday, December 1st from 8:30-1:00PM in the courtyard between the Church and Parish Hall. We will be outside after Mass again this weekend handing out forms and collecting payments. You can also order and pay online at. All orders must be made by Sunday, November 10th. Thanks so much for your support and Merry Christmas!
