Wall of Remembrance

Many parishioners past, present and those yet to come, have and will contribute to the growth of Sacred Heart Parish. As a way to remember all of these parishioners we have a wall of remembrance thanks to Lillian Macy, now deceased, but previously a long time Sacred Heart Parishioner.

Local artist Gerald L. Thiebolt was commissioned to create individual clay plaques that make up the “Wall of Remembrance.” Each parishioner is able to buy a clay plaque engraved with their name, the name of a family member or other parish member, along with the birth date and, if applicable, the date of their death.

Each clay plaque helps to form a mosaic on one of the walls that surrounds a meditation area, located between the church and the hall. You may plan ahead and purchase plaques for your whole family so that they can be placed on the same wall.
