At Father Thomas’ request, we are fortunate that Deacon Peter Hudson from the Diocese of San Diego will conduct workshops in our Parish Hall for registered Sacred Heart Parishioners who are interested in becoming a Minister of the Word (Lector) or an Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (Eucharistic Ministers), or for those that are currently Lectors or Eucharistic Ministers. The workshops will focus on the spiritual and liturgical significance of the roles and responsibilities of these Ministers and give us an opportunity to strengthen our faith, and minister to our fellow Parishioners, for the glory of God! Your attendance is strongly encouraged.

Saturday, April 29th for Eucharistic Ministers: 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Saturday, May 6th for Lectors: from 9:00 a.m. to about 3:00 p.m.; lunch will be provided.

It is with a heavy heart that we let you know a member of our Parish family, Adam Estrada, died Thursday afternoon, April 20, 2017. Adam was the elder son of our long-time parishioners Kimberly and Alfredo Estrada. Rosary will be Friday May 5th, at 7:00 pm at Sacred Heart Church. The Funeral will be Saturday, May 6th at 11:00 am, with a reception to follow in the parish hall.

A Collection is being conducted for the Estrada family to help pay for Adam’s expenses. If you would like to donate you can make a check payable to Kimberly and Alfredo Estrada and place it in the collection basket or drop it off at the rectory. Let’s show the family how Sacred Heart is a Parish built on Love.❤️❤️❤️
