The Lector Workshop planned for this coming Saturday, May 6th has been cancelled. We will be rescheduling the workshop and a new date will be announced shortly. A detailed invitation will follow. We appreciate your kind consideration for this late cancellation notice.
Show your love by bringing cookies for Adam Estrada’s Celebration of Life reception immediately after the funeral Saturday morning. Please bring your cookies to the hall in the morning, before the funeral at 11:00 AM.
If you would like to help the Estrada family pay for funeral and medical expenses, you can make a check payable to Kimberly & Alfredo Estrada and drop it off at the rectory or place it in the baskets at the reception.

At Father Thomas’ request, we are fortunate that Deacon Peter Hudson from the Diocese of San Diego will conduct workshops in our Parish Hall for registered Sacred Heart Parishioners who are interested in becoming a Minister of the Word (Lector) or an Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (Eucharistic Ministers), or for those that are currently Lectors or Eucharistic Ministers. The workshops will focus on the spiritual and liturgical significance of the roles and responsibilities of these Ministers and give us an opportunity to strengthen our faith, and minister to our fellow Parishioners, for the glory of God! Your attendance is strongly encouraged.
Saturday, April 29th for Eucharistic Ministers: 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Saturday, May 6th for Lectors: from 9:00 a.m. to about 3:00 p.m.; lunch will be provided.
