Music For
The 15th Sunday in Ordinary Time

Dear Fellow Parishioners,

This week’s music at Mass should all be very familiar to you and the words to all of the songs can be found in this attachment.

This week Jesus sends the apostles out to preach repentance and heal the sick in his name as we are still called to witness for him.

Enjoy the music and have a blessings-filled week!

Music For
The 14th Sunday in Ordinary Time

Dear Fellow Parishioners,

I hope you enjoyed the surprise of having the choir singing for Mass last week. They will be singing at the 8:00 Mass from now on (I hope). This week none of the songs are new and you can find the words to them in this attachment.

Most of the songs I’m going to share with you this week are based on the second reading, but first we have a different musical setting of Psalm 123, today’s responsorial. ‘To You I lift Up My Eyes’ by Vocal Tapestry https://youtu.be/cfq4NNg8uks

In the Gospel, Jesus goes to his hometown and is rejected by the people there, but in this song, these young people pledge to give their all for him:

And for the Fourth of July: ‘God Bless America’ sung by Celine Dion https://youtu.be/6LSarhZpnMs

I hope you’re enjoying the holiday weekend and that God blesses us all. Enjoy the music!
