Jesus: The Way, the Truth, and the Life
Our Fall Bible Series starts March 2nd, 2022!

We will be using the Ascension Press Series “Jesus: The Way, the Truth, and the Life.” This 10-week study goes over Jesus’ life. To take this class you will need to pay and create an account with Ascension Press with the link below. For just $29.95, plus shipping, you will get access to the series videos for a year, a study book, a timeline chart of Jesus’ life, a mini book and an online workbook. You will have homework each week to read the assigned readings in the Bible and watch a 30 minute video. On Wednesdays we will discuss what we have learned and keep each other accountable for the readings!

Ascension Press Description of the Study:
“The marvelous treasures of the Catholic Faith—the Eucharist, Mary, the saints, and the Creed—are all centered on a single figure: Jesus Christ. Jesus is more than a historical or theological figure. He is our Savior, our Redeemer, our Lord, and our God. While many of us already know a lot about him, how well can we say we really know him? Filmed on location in the Holy Land, Jesus: The Way, the Truth, and the Life is a new and fresh look at Jesus—who he is, what he is really like, what he taught, and what he did for our salvation. This encounter with Christ will inspire and empower you to center your entire life on him as you come to know and love him in an ever-deeper and more intimate way.”

Revelation of the Magi
written by Br. John-Marmion Villa
This feast of the Epiphany is best understood as a dialogue or relationship. Clearly, the Feast has the perspective of the Christ Child being revealed to the Magi who had been seeking him. But also, it has the perspective of the Magi “revealing their gifts” to the Christ Child.

Fourth Sunday of Advent
PRESENCE MORE THAN PRESENTS
My dearly beloved in Christ, as we gather today to celebrate the best of all gifts that God has given to us, the gift of God’s presence, may the Holy Spirit enlighten us and open us up to acknowledge the presence of God, and may we become that divine presence, that holy presence to everyone that we encounter, until we come to our heavenly inheritance, through Christ our Lord. Amen.
