Calling all Girl Scouts! Sunday, March 10, Sacred Heart of Ocean Beach will be celebrating “Girl Scout Sunday”. This is an opportunity for all Girl Scouts to reflect on their commitment “to serve God” through the Girl Scout Promise. Please have your Girl Scout wear her uniform to 10:00 am Mass on that day. We are also looking for girls who would be interested in bringing up the offertory gifts, reading the Prayers of the Faithful, or participating as altar servers. The Monstrance in the adoration chapel is temporarily unavailable, while it is being repaired. Please continue to use the adoration chapel. Jesus is still in the tabernacle awaiting you to visit Him in prayer. Sorry for the inconvenience. Thank you for your patience! |

New Adoration Hours |

As a reminder, Sacred Heart has Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament in our chapel behind the altar. We have a monstrance that allows us to expose and repose the Eucharist by opening and closing the doors of the monstrance. Instructions on how to do this can be found in the Adoration Chapel. This will allow for us to have adoration without need to sign up for time slots. The hours the chapel is open are 7:00AM-7:00PM and there is a code to enter into the chapel from the Saratoga side door. This code only works 7:00AM-7:00PM. It has been decided to change the code to door at the same time the new lock was installed. If you would like the code to the chapel door please email Janice Teixeira at seniorministry@sacredheartob. |
