The Posadas is a nine-day religious festival, celebrated throughout Latin America, that recreates the journey taken by Mary and Joseph to Bethlehem.
Because of the Roman census, all of the inns were full, so Mary and Joseph went door to door pidiendo posada (“asking for an inn”). Come and celebrate las Posadas with our parish community next Sunday.
Drive up the hill to 1955 Santa Barbara Street, or meet Fr. Billy after the 5 pm Mass for a brisk walk up Saratoga to Santa Barbara, the starting point. This is a great family-friendly event.
