Many parishioners past, present, and those yet to come, have and will contribute to the growth of Sacred Heart Parish. As a way to remember them, the Sacred Heart courtyard includes a wall of remembrance, thanks to Lillian Macy, now deceased, but previously a long-time Sacred Heart parishioner.

Local artist Gerald L. Thiebolt was commissioned to create individual clay plaques that make up the “Wall of Remembrance.” Parishioners may purchase clay plaques engraved with their name, the name of a family member or other parish member, along with the birth date and, if applicable, the date of their death.

Each clay plaque helps to form a mosaic on one of the walls that surrounds a meditation area, located between the church and the hall. You may plan ahead and purchase plaques for your whole family, so that they can be placed on the same wall.
